There is a ton to do here on or off thebases. The people are very friendly and welcoming. I can't speak for the the school but there are lots of public and private schools available. It seems that the better school districts are in the NW part of town. What else would you like other spouses to know about the program? If you haven't yet been a part of the military- it may take some getting used to. Do your shopping on the bases or at the Army post- use the facilities that they have. The auxiliary is made up of retirees and women with young kids. If you're a working spouse, there isn't a whole lot of support except maybe from the other spouses in the same program! It's also a combined Army/Air Force program so that's kind of nice. We have had a very nice experience here so far. |
