MICU and what they call Bigelow months (call every 4th and if your team is not organized, they can take long hours every day.) Does the program provide health insurance? Both Medical and Dental Describe the surrounding communities. We live in an expensive communtiy, but we located ourselves near the hospital which is also very near shopping and museums. What else would you like other spouses to know about the program? Mass General, compared to other internal medicine programsin Boston does get their interns out of the hospital post-call at around noon. They also have get-togethers for residents and their families several times a year, and find substitutes to go into the hospital during those hours of the get-togethers so people on-call or at work can attend with their families. |
