Buu, or Majin Buu as he is sometimes called, is a creation from Bibidi, an evil wizard. When Bibidi is killed by one of the good guys, Babidi takes over his reign of terror by attempting to summon Majin Buu from his egg. The egg can only be hatched once it has absorbed enough energy from inside Babidi's space ship. Babidi turns Vegeta into Majin Vegeta and tricks him into fighting Goku in the spaceship which his spell has disguised as a desolate area. While Goku and Majin Vegeta fight, their energy is absorbed by the egg. Gohan and the Supreme Kai attempt to destroy the egg, but Gohan ends up hatching it early. The first form to come out of the egg is fat Majin Buu, who listens to what Babidi tells him. Babidi has Majin Buu destroy many towns and villages, and Majin Buu uses his special ray on people that turn them into chocolate and candy. Eventually, Majin Buu grows tired of Babidi's orders and kills him. Later he meets Hercule he convinces him that killing is wrong and gives him a puppy. But some stupid humans kill the puppy and Majin Buu steams out some anger into another form of Buu, Evil Buu. Evil Buu then fights Majin Buu and absorbs him, becoming Super Buu. He then finds Kame's lookout tower and demands to fight the strongest of the z-warriors. They ask time to prepare for the battle, and if he waits patiently, the battle will be worth his effort. He agrees while Goten and Trunks practice the fusion technique. They then trick him into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and Gotenks messes around which causes Piccolo to close the Chamber, and Buu escapes. Gotenks later escapes with Piccolo and turns back into Goten and Trunks who get absorbed along with Piccolo and Gohan. Goku comes and eventually fuses with Vegeta into Vegetto, who kicks Super Buu's butt, they then get absorbed and break the nerve inside Super Buu that causes him to spit everyone out. When this happens, he turns into Kid Buu, who destroys earth in one blow. But the Supreme Kai transports Goku, Vegeta, Dende, and Hercule and take them to his planet. Kid Buu makes his way to the planet and kicks Goku and Vegeta's butt. Goku tries to gather the spirit bomb but needs more energy. They use the Namek dragonballs to wish back earth and its people to life again. Eventually the Namek's and the Earthlings give their energy to the spirit bomb, but Kid Buu notices it and hides next to Vegeta so Goku can't throw it. Hercule sneaks over and grabs Vegeta and Goku hurls the spirit bomb at Kid Buu, but Kid Buu sends out some energy blast to send it back to Goku. Goku transforms to Super Saiyan and uses his blast to send the bomb back to Kid Buu. The Good Buu, (the fat one) helps Goku out by hitting Kid Buu while he isn't looking, enough for the spirit bomb to land on Kid Buu. During the wish Goku wishes for Buu to be reborn but be good, and this creates Uubu, who later meets up with Goku at the ending episodes of Dragonball Z. Plus fat Buu is also good so he hangs out with Hercule for a bit.
