Quest for Truth

It is in human nature to question the very existence of himself and to seek the truth. From the basic logic and knowledge of science, there is one creator to this universe or there is none. This is where belief comes into picture. Logically, you have two ways to go, either accept the unseen creator or reject him saying that there is no creator. It is this choice that you make without seeing the creator which builds up your mortal life and life hereafter.

Everything in this universe is governed by the Law and indeed there must be a law given to the humans. Since we have a freedom of choice, unlike the sun, moon or solar system, you are not binded by the Law and you have the choice to obey or disobey the law. In quest of this Law, I have found that Islam emphasizes the oneness, purity, & Eternality of God unlike other religions and it is the most logical choice. The Quran (The book revealed to Prophet Mohammed PBUH) provides a definition of God which is very convincing logically and scientifically. God says in Quran, Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He Begotten; and there is none like unto Him. Since nothing is like Him, all the claims of god being a human, tree, animal & stone falls short for any logical reasoning. You cannot even imagine the extent of his creation (Universe) and it is impossible for you to comprehend God. He is beyond your imagination (humans, trees, animals, stones, sun, moon etc). Since God is eternal, without beginning or end, He is not begotten and He doesnt beget because everything-else other than Him is His creation. Also God is Absolute. It means perfect, pure and "not mixed".

According to Anthropic Principle, if the charge of the electron, the gravitational constant, etc. were changed slightly, then life would have been impossible. As Freeman Dyson of Princeton said, "It's as if the universe knew we were coming." The strong version of this, states that this proves the existence of God or an all-powerful deity. You have a choice to make, is this universe created in a way that makes life possible or it was just a probability.

Einstein himself knew that his theory broke down at the instant of the Big Bang. Relativity was worthless, he realized, when it came to answering the most embarrassing cosmic question in all of science: What happened before the Big Bang? Ask any cosmologist this question, and they will throw up their hands, roll their eyes, and lament. Dr. Linde points out; there is a chicken- and-egg problem. Which came first: the universe, or the law governing it? Or, as he asks, "If there was no law, how did the universe appear?" This may be forever beyond the reach of science. The most popular answer from physicist is that the whole universe is the result of fluctuation in "nothingness" as "nothing" is unstable. This is one of the desperate moves in denying the creator that brought this universe into existence. Even if they convince people that everything came from "nothingness", then what was before "nothingness? According to Quran, God created everything and God is eternal, without beginning or end.

Of course you cannot comprehend of something without a beginning and without an end. This is the very reason, in the initial introduction to Quran, it is said that "This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah; Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them; And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter. They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper. To those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe."

Some misinformed people claim that Islam is a contagious disease. Islam is contagious but its a cure to your diseased soul and it sets you free.
