Islam has a very strong emphasis on cleanliness. Prayer should be performed in a clean state and depending on the degree of cleanliness of our body, Ghusal and/or Wudu should be performed before prayer. To know more about it

Prayer (Salaat)
Two Rakaat Salaat
- Perform step 1, step 2
- Stand up while saying "Allahu Akbar"
- Perform step 2, step 3, step 4
Three Rakaat Salaat
- Perform step 1, step 2
- Stand up while saying "Allahu Akbar"
- Perform step 2, step 3
- Stand up while saying "Allahu Akbar"
- Perform step 2, step 3, step 4
Four Rakaat Salaat
- Perform step 1, step 2
- Stand up while saying "Allahu Akbar"
- Perform step 2, step 3
- Stand up while saying "Allahu Akbar"
- Perform step 2
- Stand up while saying "Allahu Akbar"
- Perform step 2, step 3, step 4
STEP 1
In Standing position raise your hands saying "Allahu Akbar" as shown in figure below.
STEP 2
Then you should place your right arm on you left arm and place it over your chest. (incline your head down and look towards the ground) as shown in figure below

Say "Allahu Akbar" and go into Ruku as shown in figure below
Say "Subhana Rabbi yal azim" 3 times in Ruku as in figure above
Say "Sami' Allah hu liman hamidah" while straightening as in figure below
Say "Rab-bana wa lakal hamd" after straightening as in figure above
Say "Allahu Akbar" and go down into Sajdah as in figure below
Say "Subhana Rabbi yal a'la" 3 times in Sajdah as in figure above
Say "Allahu Akbar" while changing the position to Jalsah as in figure below
Say "Allahu Akbar" and go down into Sajdah as in figure below
Say "Subhana Rabbi yal a'la" 3 times in Sajdah as in figure above

Say "Allahu Akbar" while sitting in Qad'ah as in figure below

Say "As-Salaamu 'alaikum wa Rahmatul lah" turning the head towards the right-side focusing gaze on the right shoulder as shown in figure below

DEFINITIONS OF TERMS USED IN PRAYER
SANA
Subhana Kallah humma wabi hamdika watabara kasmuka wata 'ala jad-duka wala ilaha ghayruk
Taou-Wuz
A'uzu bil-llahi minash shayta nir-rajeem
Translation:
I seek refuge with Allaah from the Evil One, the Rejected.
Tasmiah
Bisimllah hir-rahman nir-raheem
Translation:
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy.
surah FATIHA
Al hamdu lillaahi rabbil 'alameen
Ar-Rahman nir-Raheem Maaliki yaumid Deen
Iyyaaka na'abudu wa iyyaaka nasta'een
Ihdinas siraatal mustaqeem
Siraatal ladheena an 'amta' alaihim
Ghairil maghduubi' alaihim waladaaleen
Aameen
Translation:
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;
Most Gracious, Most Merciful;
Master of the Day of Judgment.
Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.
Show us the straight way,
The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.

At-tahiy-yatu Lil-laahi Was Sala-waatu Wat-tay-yibatu Assalamu Alaika Ay-yuhan Nabiy-yu Warah-matul-lahi Wabarakatuh. Assalaamu Alaina Wa-ala Ibadil-lahis-saaliheen. Ash-hadu-al Laa-ila-ha Il-lal-lahu Wa-ash-hadu Anna Muhammadan Ab-duhu Wa Rasooluh. (lift the right hand's index finger up while reading from Ash-hadu..to..Ab-duhu Wa rasooluh in Tashah-hud)

FEW SECTIONS OF QURAN
Al-Ikhlas (Purity)
"Qul huwallaahu ahad
Allahus samad
Lam yalid wa lam yuulad
Wa lamya kullahuuu kufuwan ahad"
Translation:
Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;
Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
And there is none like unto Him.
Al-Falaq (The Dawn)
"Qul a'uudhu birabbil falaq
Min sharri ma khalaq
Wa min sharri ghaasiqin idhaa waqab
Wa min sharrin naffaathaati fil 'uqad
Wa min sharri haasidin idhaa hasad"
Translation:
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn
From the mischief of created things;
From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads;
From the mischief of those who practise secret arts;
And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy.
An-Naas (Mankind)
"Qul a'uudhi bi rabbin naas
Malikin naas
Ilaahin naas
Min sharril wawaasil khannas
Alladhee yuwaswisu fee suduurin naas
Minal Jinnati wa naas"
Translation:
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind,
The King (or Ruler) of Mankind,
The god (or judge) of Mankind,-
From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper).
(The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,-
Among Jinns and among men.
Al-Kafirun (The Unbelievers)
"Qul yaa ayyuhal kaafiruun
Laa 'abudu maa t'abuduun
Walaa antum 'aabidunna maa a'abud
Walaa ana 'aabidun maa 'abadttum
Walaa antum 'aabiduuna maa a'abud
Lakmu deenukum wa liya deen"
Translation:
Say : O ye that reject Faith!
I worship not that which ye worship,
Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship.
Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
To you be your way, and to me mine.
Al-Kauthar (Abundance)
Innaa a'atainaakal kauthar
Fasalli li rabbika wanhar
Inna shaani'aka huwal abtar
Translation:
To thee have We granted the Fount (of Abundance).
Therefore to thy Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice.
For he who hateth thee, he will be cut off (from Future Hope).
