I have so many great pictures from this summer.  I will post as many as I can.

Hunter has grown so much.  People think he is 3-4 years old, including the Drs and Nurses.  He is very tall for his age, 41 inches tall and about 39 lbs.  He is very smart and is talking constantly.

He picks up on things quickly.  We have to watch out for offhanded remarks etc.  The other day CJ and I were exhausted at the end of the day and were reclined on the couches.  Hunter got up and was sneaking around the kitchen.  I told him to go back to bed and said "Don't make me tell Daddy to get up and yell at you." (I was too tire to do it).  The next day we were eating dinner and Hunter wanted me to do something.  He said "Don't make me tell Daddy!"  We just about fell out of our chairs.    Image

Danny and Buddy have started Fall Soccer.  Buddy has play since he was 3 1/2 years old.  This year we signed him up late and were told the team was full.  We tried to find other kids to make up a second team, and a coach.  While we were working on this  the organization he plays soccer for in the spring came to the door wanting to recruit him for thier team.  Their goalie has moved up and they wanted him to play for them - last spring they only lost 2 or 3 games - they were a brand new team but had a great coach and a lot of will.

We did get another team together so he is playing at his school with his regular crew.  We are much happier.  Buddy will be helping his coach, coach a younger team on Tuesday nights.

This is Danny's first year playing.  He is very proud of his new equipment and is excited to play.  Buddy is trying to give him a little push and practice in the back yard but he is pushing a little too hard.  I hope Danny enjoys the season.

Our schedule is going to be crazy.  We have Boy Scouts on Monday nights; both boys have soccer on Tuesdays and we have Cub Scouts; Buddy has soccer on Thursday and Danny has soccer on Friday; Saturday is game day.

Next year Hunter will be able to play.  I can't imagine what the schedule will be then.Image

When we bought Danny his new kleets, ball, socks and shin guards.  Hunter was very upset.  We had to get Buds old kleets out of the garage sale stuff (they are too big) and a pair of guards and one of the old balls for Hunter.  He can dribble the ball and loves to run after the ball.  I can't wait until next year.

CJ and I are finally licensed to teach.  I have a license to teach ESL (English as a second language) and another for AIG (Academic/Intelectually Gifted).  I want to take the test to be able to teach Spanish also.  It wont be a far reach from the ESL.

CJ has two licenses also.  He has one for Buisiness Education and one for Marketing Education.  He will also be putting in for one in Computer Education.  This fall he is starting a full time teaching position at East Iredell Middle school teaching Computer Ed.  He starts classes for his master's in the fall.

I am taking some time off from schooling.

We have two cats now.  One, Taco,  was just an outside stray who showed up and enamored himself to us until we came home from a camping trip and found out he had been hit by a car.  He is now lounging in our house with a huge hot pink caste on his right front leg and a large bandage on his broken and severely injured tail.  He has gotten used to all and runs around at top speed sounding like a peglegged pirate.  He is bored and making a nuisance of himself but we love him.  The other, Kitty Bob, is an old biddy cat who does not like comotion and kids.  She is now totally put out of place with Taco being in the house.  They used to be best friends when he was outside.  Now she is evil.

School starts, for teachers Aug 17th and for kids Aug 25th.  Things will start getting Crazy then.  We currently have one car - a 3 cylendar Geo - to get the 5 of us to our daily destinations.  Life will be interesting.

God will get us through.  He is in charge and I have complete faith and trust in him.  As Hunter would say "Yeah God!"
