The silver 1993 Mazda RX7 is a truely remarkable sports car, using a g-tech pro it run an average 5.3sec from 0~60 and a consistant 14sec for 1/4 mile when stock.? After the mods on the right it dynoed 280hp on the wheel, with some more tuning it should pump more than that.? The top speed tried on the car was 280km/h and it is still going, on the dyno at 4th gear near redline the car is doing 240km/h.? The dyno facility didn't provide it with enough air, so the car is running quite rich if proper mixture is provided the car should perform alot better.?
Now it is a project car by Racing Evolution of Mississauga, Canada.? There are no plans on increasing the horse power because right now it have more than I can handle efficiently on the track.? There are future mods planed for this car, mostly to make the car more suitable for track days.? Bigger brakes, larger radiator and oil cooler will be one the list along with race seats, lighter and bigger wheels to be fitted with the bigger brakes.? Some custom body and interior works will also be done.
So stay tuned for more pictures and more info.
