This song is about being on tour with the band. Andrew mentions various memorable shows they had played at and memorable fans he had met. He also mentions a girl who "wrote him a letter" referencing a fan letter he received. He "woke up in a car", or tourbus, feeling "lost" because he wakes up to a different location each day, but also feeling "at home" because he is with his best friends doing what he loves to do. How sweet!

This song is about how Andrew woke up in a car! Woo. Andrew is saying he loves all of his fans and wherever he goes he feels comfortable around them. "I've never been so lost. I've never felt so much at home. Please write my folks and throw away my keys." Here he is saying 'I dont know where I am, but i like it, and i don't mind staying'. "I met a girl who kept tatoos for homes that she had loved. If I were her I'd paint my body until all my skin was gone" is saying: 'everwhere I go, I feel comfortable'.
