This song deals with Andrew's relationship with his girlfriend under pressure. While she is "leaving home" for college, he is leaving her to tour with the band. Andrew is worried about leaving his girlfriend, hinting that she may cheat ("she'll probably get nailed while I sleep in a van") or that he might cheat ("me making out with a fan"). Andrew expresses his frustration by exaggerating "bombing" his girlfriend, but, of course he does not really mean it. NOTE: Andrew is not a terrorist!!
