As you may have noticed, I have taken the petition signatures down. I talked to Josh, and he informed me that there is a lot that goes into making a band and that to bring Reuben back would be difficult. He also said that without a permenant rythm guitarist he could manage all the instrumentals himself but that for now, he hopes that everyone would warmly welcome Bobby Raw Anderson. I wish that you would keep your comments kind on the tagboard and not criticize this issue any further, since there is not even really much more to say. Thank you.

Andrew, Josh, and Arvis are on the cover of BREAK magazine. According to the Official Site, BREAK is distributed to colleges and universities throughout the United States... if you don't go to college, I suggest you get your ass onto a campus right away. Also: keep checking the Official Site for added dates on the new tour, and check back here for some new journal icons coming soon.

Added some interviews. Also, it obviously upsets me when people give me so much shit about this petition, especially when I've invested so much into it. I can't believe how harshly fans and frequent visitors of this site can act. Some of you should be embarrassed. It's really rude, and it reminds me of that big fight on the Official Site's message boards that happened a while back that Andrew had to break up. Don't you get that your behaivor is out of control? I'm sorry, I don't mean to yell at all the people who may be reading this but those of you who this is referring to know who you are. For once in your life, take this advice instead of just going on the tagboard and insulting me on every word I say. That's all I have to say, please listen.

Go to SimplySoCo.com to read their interview with William. Also, Will confirmed in an email that Tad left the band Something Corporate to become his merchandize guy. Besides this, I added a link to view the signatures and comments from the petition. This can be found in the Petition Signatures section of the site. Keep signing and keep spreading around the petition to your friends. PS: HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILL!

This post is totally regarding my PETITION. A lot of people had questions about it, so I assembled a FAQ for the petition below. Right now we have 113 signatures and we are aiming for around 500-1000, differing on how well we do.
PETITION FAQ
Q: Does Reuben want to rejoin the band, or is this petition against his own will?
A: YES, Reuben does want to rejoin the band. In fact, that is the main purpose of this petition.
Q: What's the purpose of the petition?
A: Why, I'm glad you asked. OK so Reuben is an awesome guy with experience in this same position in this same band. He also wants to be involved in SC again. But, the way it works is that the guys need to contact him first about getting the position. Instead, the guys are looking for random fill-ins to play with on the tours. Since Reuben basically hasn't expressed too much opinion on wanting the position himself, I offered that the I could show the guys that the fans do want him back. That is where you come in, and that is why you are a huge help.
Q: Isn't this petition just putting added stress on the guys?
A: NO!!! OF COURSE NOT!!! The guys are under no stress at all as of right now because they have a temp. replacement already in for Will. So, if Reuben were to permenately fill the void, I'm sure the guys would be relieved that the position is filled with someone they know and respect.
Q: What makes you think a petition will help?
A: It will show the guys that the fans care about who replaces Will.
Q: Isn't this petition a little disrespectful to Will?
A: No, not at all. Will and the guys are on great terms. So, Will could care less who replaces him. Also, he has met Reuben and they get along. And, I do miss Will. This is in no means a petition that says "I never liked Will, I always just wanted Reuben." I loved Will but now the time has come for someone new, and I think it's best that we get someone like Reuben that we are all familiar with.
Q: Who is Reuben Hernandez?
A: REUBEN IS DA BOMB!!! He used to be in the band and played on the record Ready...Break, SC's first CD that included most of SC's greatest songs and some songs that were later re-recorded onto LTTW. You've probably listened to him before and mistook him for Will. For example, Reuben was the only one who played on songs such as "Babies of the 80s," "Mulligan Goes To War," "If I Die," "Ben Franklin's Kite," and others.
Q: Aren't the guys not on good terms with Reuben?
A: Let me just clarify that this rumor is completely UNtrue. They are still in contact with each other and still great friends.
Q: Now, wait a minute. Didn't Reuben quit the band in the first place?
A: NO, Reuben NEVER quit the band. He did, however, leave for a semester of college and was temporarily replaced by Will who permenately replaced him upon his return. Reuben agrees that this was a fair decision made by the guys because he did leave the band in jeopardy when he left.
Q: But Reuben left for college and he's still in it now, right?
A: WRONG! He has since graduated college and is ready to join the band again...that is if we get enough signatures to get him in!
Q: How many signatures do we need?
A: Our goal is to have about 500-1000 signatures, it depends on how much progress we make.
Q: How can I help promote the petition?
A: By sending it off to as many people as possible! We need your help!
Q: Okay I'm excited now...where can I sign this petition?
A: By clicking HERE.
Q: Do I have to use my real name in this petition?
A: YES, please!! If you don't, it may seem like the name is fake and the petition will not seem authentic. It only requires that you enter your first and last name, and you may just enter your real first name and your last initital. There are now privacy issues regarding this petition, I'm sure, but if it makes you feel better you may do that.
Q:How can I view the results of the petition?
A: Okay, I'm working on this. I can download the results, but they are constantly changing and it is hard to get an accurate account. I can, however, update you frequently in the main section of our site and I plan to do that.

Napster Sessions
Four new tracks are available to order from Napster Sessions. "Cavanaugh Park," "Anything," "Space" and "As You Sleep." The guys recorded them in the Napster New York studio late last year. These sound great and are a must have. Click HERE to download them for 99 cents each.

Here it is with an apology
by Andrew
I understand there is frustration with the lag time on official word from the band in regards to William's leaving. I can't blame anyone for those feelings but hope you all understand that the gravity of this situation created the need for a moment to collect ourselves minus public opinion and without the phone ringing off the hook. Thank you for dealing with the wait. The Following is my personal statement about William's departure from Something Corporate:
We recently returned home for our first long break since the recording of the audioboxer ep 3 years ago. While at home our guitarist, William Tell, informed us of his difficult decision to leave the band. This decision stemmed from Will's desire to further interests that have been important to him since long before his joining Something Corporate. As some may know William stepped in shortly before we began recording for Drive Thru Records as a replacement for our original guitarist Reuben. With this in mind we would like to assure our fans we have faced this challenge before and our equipped to make a smooth transition going forward. We are currently practicing with Bobby "raw" Anderson, former River City High guitarist/back up vocalist, who will be stepping in for upcoming tour dates. Though this was unexpected it has only strengthened our commitment to the band and our fans and we are anxious to get back on the road to prove that. Will has been a huge part of our lives and our fans lives, he remains a dear friend and we thank him for all his efforts as a member of Something Corporate.

I added a new question and answer to our FAQ section. More importantly, I have a new mission for all of you who come to visit RerunsOnTheScreen. IT IS OFFICIAL that Will has left the band. I got this information in an email from Josh forwarded by Reuben. He also mentioned that he doesn't think they will ever permenantly replace Will, but get many temporary replacements to tour with them. Do we like that? NO! WHO DO WE WANT? REUBEN...lmao. Okay so we do love the guys and respect their decisions but we love Reuben more than some bunch of temp. people that we will never love AS much. That's why I bring to you Operation: Get Reuben His Job Back! How do I do this, you ask? Why, it's simple. Just mosey on over to MY PETITION to sign it and get your point across. After we get a ton of signatures, I will send it off to Josh and let him know what the fans think. So, you are making a very important executive decision in the future of your all-time favorite band. What's that? I know, I'm cool. So, don't waste time! SIGN IT NOW!

As Katie posted last night, it has been said that William may have left Something Corporate to pursue other things, such as his education and returning to his old band. Tad the merchguy is also leaving. Although it has not been confirmed on SomethingCorporate.com, I am very sure that these are facts. Bob from River City High is going to be replacing William on the upcoming tour. Keep checking back for updates on this, and I'd also check SimplySoCo.com for updates.
