First off, I want to wish everyone Merry Christmas, Chrismaca, or whatever holiday you celebrate. =) For those of you who have been whining about MP3s that you used to get from SimplySoCo, this is an update for you. Go here to download the Chicago show if you haven't already. The MP3s are courtesy of Ryan and are extremely good quality. Also, he did get permission from Andrew to record this show so there is nothing to worry about there.

I want to wish Reuben a very happy twenty-third birthday. I know he's no longer in the band but I'm still his biggest fan. So there! In other SC news, William recently learned to play the bagpipe and Andrew's bumping the piano for a hipper guitar sound. Okay just kidding there is nothing currently going on with the band. There are some rumors going around that SC and Yellowcard will be teaming up on a tour that will happen in the Spring, but there are no solid details as of now. So if you would like to submit anything to the site do not be shy. If not, the holidays are a busy time of year and I'm definitely not promising many updates this week. I'm not going to fight with the anonymous people who like to complain, either, so suck it up. That's all.

If you haven't been checking up on the comments on the site recently, the RX Bandits had to depart the tour due to some undiscloesd personal reasons. A lot of fans were abusing the comment section by tearing on the RX Bandits and doing other things like that, which led to Andrew writing this:

Andrew Responds...
"I began to read some of the posts regarding RX departing the tour. I want you all to understand that this decision has nothing to do with any of the band members not getting along on the tour. Quite the contrary this tour has created lasting friendships among all the bands RX and SOCO being no exception. It is ridiculous for anyone to spend/waste their time speculating and/or trashing one another. I know these forums are meant for people to speak their minds so I will take this moment to speak mine. The RX Bandits are great people, a great band and are good friends of ours. I was unaware of any problems occurring between our respective fan bases at the shows, but it happens. Not everyone will like everyone else and that is their right. I always think it is unfortunate when people are openly disrespectful to any band or their fans at a show but I assure you we have all dealt with it before and there was nothing remotely out of the ordinary on this tour. We want to thank you all for your support, concerns, comments but let me put to rest any notion that this change in plans had anything to do with conflicting band members or our audiences. We respect everyone�s right to voice an opinion here, but there is no need to tear down the Bandits for their decision to leave. It is not my place to discuss it, but they have their reasons and there are absolutely no hard feelings on our part. I would also ask you all to understand that when making decisions to tour we try to be versatile and offer an array of music for our fans to choose from. Not everything is for everyone, but we do ask you to keep an open mind. Hopefully this helps put this issue to rest and we look forward to reuniting with our good friends and one of our favorite bands, The RX Bandits, in San Diego on the 18th for the last show of this tour."

It really upsets me that Andrew actually had to write this to SC fans on the site. It's so disrespectful to tear on other bands and really just dumb. There's no need to do that, especially when all the bands that SC tour with are hardworking bands who try hard to win over the audience. Try to keep an open mind for all the bands playing on the upcoming tours, and don't use the Official Site to vent. For most of you reading this, I'm sure it doesn't apply so just disregard it. :)

Belated Diary Entry!
Hello all,
First and foremost I would like to apologize for not updating the tour journal as frequently as usual on this tour. Things have been a little hectic as of late. So here's what's been going on.
We are finishing up our run of Radio shows here in Florida and are excited to get back on our regular tour. Unfortunately the RX Bandits are not going to be able to join us for the final leg of the tour, but we have some really cool local openers and other bands to take there slot.
For everyone who has already seen us on this tour we want to thank you for making this tour so awesome. We have always tried to show our appreciation to our fans and no matter how much we try it will never be enough, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
As for everyone over on the other side of the Atlantic, we are currently booking our tour for our new album "North" right now for the month of March so be on the lookout for that. Again, thank you for all your support and we will talk to you soon.

Posted three more interviews, making our total number 41. WHOA!! That's a whole lotta interviews! :) Yeah, so go check those out. Also, we may be moving to a new location soon because I might have found a host for our site (finally!!). If you are konfused by any of this, all that this means is that we will no longer be under geocities and therefore have much less bandwidth issues. YAY! I'll keep you posted.
