My second show was totally awesome. I got there with my dad (yeah, fun stuff) a little late for the start of the show but just at the end of Days Away's set. (We had bought our tickets beforehand) I was kind of upset that I missed Days Away's set, though, because their last song sounded really great. The next band on was Mae and I fell completely in love with them! Besides the lead singer being a cutie (Well at least I think, but I was standing--Yeah standing! It's the House of Blues people, not a Holiday Inn...harde harde har--pretty far away)they just completely blew me away. All their songs were awesome but I especially liked "This Time Is The Last Time." After them came RX Bandits which I was not a fan of AT ALL. But something completely exciting happened during their set time. I was getting kind of sick of people who kept standing in front of me and blocking the view. But this was way different. Some tall guy with curly hair got in front of me and started dancing. Right away this idea popped through my head that he was Brian. (You know you're completely obsessed when...you can recognize your favorite band member from the back of his head in a three-second time range--Wow, I'm good) So I was about to tap him on the shoulder when he left just like that. These really annoying giggly girls next to me who wouldn't shut up about how hot "the guitarist" was had no idea that "their favorite band's" drummer was right in front of their face! That seemed pretty hillarious to me. I started tapping my dad like crazy who was totally oblivious to the fact that Brian was in front of us and the next minute I saw him dancing off to the side of the stage to RXB.

Finally, after moving several times and ending up at the top floor (freakishly-giraffish tall people, why must you make out in front of my face?!?!) we were ready for SC. Their set list is as follows in no particular order excepting the first and last songs:

Set List
Straw Dog
I Woke Up In A Car
Punk Rock Princess
Drunk Girl
Fall
iF yoU C Jordan
Konstantine
Walking By
Wait

**First time ever played live

I was pumped that a few of the songs off my Top Ten List made it on the show, especially "Walking By." They played some great songs off of North, and I was particularly impressed by "Ruthless" and "21 and Invincible." The crowd was great, too. I was shocked at how they were such die-hard SC fans that knew the lyrics to pretty much every song. Well, they didn't have a clue what was going on in "Wait," which Andrew advised to "go ahead and download it, cuz it's free!," but that's asking a lot. Of course I loved watching Brian sing :) and it's also one of my favorite songs, Andrew! ;)

There were some major hilights in the show. Besides the sparks that went off before the guys graced the stage which got everyone pumped, several funny events occurred. First there was the "PRP" fiasco when Will started signing the "Whoa" a tad too early. I'm pretty sure I was the only person who actually noticed this because everyone was pretty much looking at Andrew (okay okay, so I pretty much focused on Brian and Will the whole show but I have a reason for staring at Will...it was the hair!! :D) and you couldn't really hear Will too well. But Andrew did a quick glance up at him to get him to stop and it was pretty obvious that Josh caught it. He burst out laughing the whole remainder of the song (which was pretty much all of it...Yeah, Will was WAY off!) and gave Will a high-five for completely missing the mark.

There was also the time during "Drunk Girl" when Andrew stopped in the middle of the song and went, "Are we feeling friendly in the audience tonight? Yeah? And what do friends do when they get together?? (By this time I was a little worried that he'd have everyone in the audience getting drunk and making out) We sing Outkast!!!" (Huh?!?!?) This was absolutely hillarious to me. For the next minute or so Andrew got the whole crowd to sing along to "Miss Jackson" before finally finishing off "Drunk Girl."

Another entertaining part of the show was when Andrew said, "SO UH it's been brought to my attention, well this kid came up to me and told me how I start every sentence with 'So uh'. Which is actually kind of embarrassing to me but I think I'll just keep it up and do it the whole night." It was sooo funny and sooo very true. Afterwards I saw the poor kid explaining to Brian that he didn't mean to hurt Andrew's feelings, which Brian seemed to find very amusing and told him not to worry about it.

Besides the funny stuff there was also a lot of one-sentence song meanings thrown in there ("Ruthless"-"This song is about all the dumb things we do" and "Me and the Moon"-"Now this song's about what happens when things get REALLY ugly!" =D) and brief surprises. For instance, I was really upset when Andrew stopped singing "Walking By" midverse to the disinterest of the crowd saying "now why the fuck am I even doing this?" just to start it back again. (PHEW!) I was also happily surprised by the amount of songs they played, which sure topped the twelve-song setlist they played when I saw them in O-Town in February.

I had some fun experiences outside of the show, too, but you can just IM me for that. It included talking to Brian =) for a short while with some minor details.

All in all it was a great show, my Dad liked it more than the last one, me not as much, but still all around great times. Thanks for taking the time to read this. :)
