SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge in various aspects of communications such as R2 and SS7 Signaling for Switching Systems; Digital Microwave, Wireless, PDH, SDH/SONET, Frame Relay, ATM and Packet Switching for Transmission Systems. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills from Network to Circuit Board Level. Strong background in designing and implementing wireless systems and networks. ADMINISTRATIVE

* Supervise a team of specialists for switching, power and transmission systems.
* Act as liaison between technical/engineering and sales/business departments.
* Participate in budget and business planning meets in the Area and District Levels.
* Monitor the flow of Service Orders for Service Provisioning, Upgrade and Fault  for Voice and ADSL Services and ensure that all deadlines meet the set Service Level Standards.

* Assist the Senior Sales Manager during Sales Presentations as Technical Coordinator

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION

* Designed and built VHF/UHF repeater systems and networks for Government and Private Commercial use.
* Part of a team that experimented with trunked radio systems in Manila using Voting receivers and packet radio during its development stages.
* Part of a team that did research and development on communications systems for the Philippine Military such as Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum for the Army  and SITOR for the Navy.
* Participated in Preliminary and Final acceptance testing of digital microwave, SDH/PDH multiplex and fiber optics systems.
* Perform the initial configuration, planning and design of UHF/Microwave and Fiber Optic links for submission to the Engineering section for final draft, aapproval and sourcing.
* Coordinate with other sections regarding design implementation of special projects  such as GSM, Internet and Data Services.

OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE

* Trained at NEC's Yokohama Training Center on the Operation of the SMS 600W/V, SMS 150 and N6000 SDH/PDH Equipment.
* Extensive experience in the troubleshooting and repair of NEC's TRP-700, TRP-  770 and TRP-970 Digital Microwave Radios.
* Extensive experience in the use of various test equipment for Analog and Digital   wireless, multiplex, and fiber optics systems.
* Working knowledge of NEC's NEAX 61 E/G/K Switches and various  Engine /    Generator  Sets and controls
* Supervise the hardware modification of a number of Remote Switches (RSU's)    to meet customer demand.
* Repaired and tested various types of Circuit Boards for Switching, Power, and    Transmission.
* Developed means of testing the integrity of Aerial Systems by use of simple test   equipment.

JAA Synchronized Communications, Makati City, Philippines,
1987 to 1990

Part of a team that designed wireless communications systems (VHF/UHF/Paging). In charge of implementing all design criteria in the field during installation and testing. Recommended engineering modifications when necessary. Did some experimentation with Voting receivers and packet radio in studying Trunked systems. Acted as "Consultant" in Antenna Systems for EasyCall Philippines in designing their Paging Network.
