Bio:
Amelia is the most balanced of her beloved family. She can often be found deep inside the Boscaletti house, through the many hidden passage ways that all empty out into the lowest room of the mansion. A dungeon, so some say, and perhaps it once was. The wall's to the left and right are lined with small cage like cells, occupied now by nothing more than the stray rat or so. Though Amelia uses the room to store works of art, herbs, and other healing items.When she was little, Amelia had been the first to rush to her Father's side at the sight of an injury. Her grandmother (on her fathers side), who everyone simply called Lola, had been the families best at White Magic at the time, and had never been but a few short steps behind the child. Amelia tended to everyone, even at a very young age, the best she could. Lola took to Amelia instantly, knowing that she had a passion for the art of healing. She learned everything her elder had to teach, up until her death. She still looks back on Lola's notes quite often, even though she has grown to be arguably the best at White Magic out of the four families. Amelia is very much like her grandmother, caring, honest, and deeply devoted to her work. Never could she pass one in danger or harmed without offering her help. That is, of course, anyone outside of the other four families for the most part. Amelia looks on them with obvious distaste. That's where her father's influence comes in.
Donovan Boscaletti was harsh, critical, and very set into his own way's. He ruled the Boscaletti house with a sharp tongue and quick fist, never hesitating on enforcing punishment on a member of the family if he seen their actions in the wrong. Amelia shares his hate of hesitation. Strong minded, blunt, and very aware of what it is that she wants, and how exactly it is that she wants it. Amelia can be both caring and cruel, it depends completely on what the situation calls for. The other family members know after having spent any length of time at the Boscaletti mansion, that it is not wise to push Amelia. She'll push back without a moments pause. And as The House Mistress, she can very clearly push harder. Though one should not get the impression that Amelia is constantly angry and jaded, as I said before, she can be exceptionally kind. To the other members of her family, Amelia is both the comfort and the rule. To the Aesiers, Bowers, and Hazels, Amelia is nothing short of danger in waiting. She knows each face by name, sends spy after spy to retreave her information. Amelia hates, with a passion just as strong as the passion she holds for White Magic. True, she does hold some sort respect for a few members of the other families. When it is called for.
Her father had told her stories while growing up, stories of hate, death, and suffering. He had molded her into a reflection of himself when it came to the feud. Her mother, Leonatta, played a very small role in raising Amelia. As Donovan and Leonatta's first child, her father took her up immediately. Alone with Lola, the two made her into the woman she is now. Leonatta had other children soon after, to take and make as her own. To soften, her father would say. Leonatta passed giving birth, quite a few years before Donovan. With Donovan Boscaletti's death (it had been anticipated, he struck ill in the winter, passed months later at the old age of 78), Amelia readily moved up to take his place. Donovan's wishes. There had been no other choice, no other would keep structure as Amelia would. The family knew as much.
Amelia is easily amused, quick to anger, not as forgiving as some would assume, and artistic. Not many know a lot about who she really is, not even her family. She loves to laugh and keep things soft, to create, be it painting or sculpting. The family matters are hers and hers alone. She will not worry others with them, or open hereslf up to hurt very often. Amelia tries her best to be the sound structure that she thinks a house Mistress should be.
