Islude's Journey Home II
by
Islude
Islude entered Qeynos Hills to find a human guard with his back turned. Islude considered this guard to be quite a challenge due to his weakness from the previous fights. The guard looked around like the moron he was and began to walk back toward the trail away from the Karanas. Islude followed until the guard entered an open area. Once he was a safe distance away he continued the journey to the meeting place of his half elf servant.

"Master!" screamed an overly excited half elf. Islude quickly recognized this as his servant. "Thank you for coming, I owe you my life!" Islude sneered at this and continued to bandage his wounds. They waited a full day just outside some ruins. Islude was completely healed and the servant was eager to get his equipment. Islude followed the druid down the hill to a small camp with two more half elves. There was a female that the servant recognized as Chanda Miller. She was quiet a strange creature. Islude had never seen a female half elf before. Hideous they were but quite formidable. The other was a half elf male. Strong and sturdy, weilding a blade that must have been forged by a great smith. This was Baobob Miller. The two were brother and sister.

"My stuff!" screamed the servant. Baobob had equipped the servant's stuff. "We must strike down that terrible man!" After further analysis, Islude realized not fifty feet away was the entrance to Surefall Glade. Guards were standing by the entrance. "Do you think the guards will care if we engage them?" Islude said. "No sir, when they attacked me the guards gave them a warning to stop. They are said to be poachers and the people of Surefall do not enjoy them." "Very well," said Islude.

The servant began to conjure a few spells while Islude sharpened his blade. "I do not think we can challenge them both at once." said Islude. "I have that taken care of, sir." said the servant. "Which one first?" "Chanda," said Islude wrapping his hands to ensure grip of his blade. The servant cast a spell on Baobob, seemingly making him space off.

"Here we go!" screamed the servant named Timbas. The sky became quite dark and thunder began to erupt. Suddenly, Chanda was struck by a bolt of lightning. "AAARRGH!" the hideous beast screamed. Turning toward the druid servant, Chanda began to run in a sprint. Islude crouched behind a rock waiting. Timbas began to chant another spell and the woman was slowed to a walking pace. The druid ran like hell to escape the attacker. Once past the rock, Islude jumped out, slashing Chanda straight down her back. "AHHRG!" the beast screamed again. "An Iksar! Why I will slay you as well, you pestering fiend!" Chanda thrust her dagger into Islude's armor. Islude shunned the blade and whirled his sword around and slashed Chanda's left arm off!

"Brother!" she cried out loud but the dumbfounded half elf was staring at the ground. The woman was once again blasted with a bolt of lightning. "Now you filthy thing, you will pay for your stupidity!" Islude said, whirling around his blade. Chanda began to flee. Islude persued swinging his blade. The next thing Islude knew, she was gone. Spinning around, Islude did not see her."No! Now you die, the fiend!" Chanda screamed and came out of hiding, back-stabbing Islude! "BAH!" Islude slumped over and rolled down the hill a few feet. Islude began to feel his life drain away. "No!" the druid screamed and began to cast a spell. Islude's wound healed and his eyes opened. Chanda was standing over him. "I never thought I would get the pleasure to slay an Iksar!" Chanda unsheathed  her sword and thrust it toward Islude. Islude grabbed his sword and swung blindly at her. "AHHHH!" the woman fell to the ground in pain. Islude got up and saw that he had slashed her head right off! "Well done master, well done!" said the servant.

Islude was confused. The druid who he hated so and with all his black heart had healed him and saved his life! "Th..Thank you." Islude could not believe his words. Apparently the druid known as Timbas could not either. "Y...Your...welcome, sir." said Timbas.

The one known as Baobob sat up realizing his sister was gone. He looked around and saw the servant looting his sister's corpse! "No! What have you done, you bastard!" said Baobob running in a sprint toward the druid. Unsheathing his fine blade, Baobob slashed the druid across his face and drove his blade through his chest! "AHHHRG! Master, help!" Islude was bandaging himself a ways away. He turned to look and saw the man with his sword through his servant. "You dirty half elf, I will put you in your place! Islude said, putting on his gauntlets and picking up his blade. The warrior pulled his sword out of Timbas' chest. "Iksar, you will be the one put in your place!" Islude began to chant old ancient words. The warrior ran at Islude but before he could reach, he  was blinded. Baobob was engulfed in darkness and began to run.  Islude swung his sword toward the man, cutting his armor in two. The warrior swung his sword around like a madman. Islude easily dodged and began to cast another spell. Skulls surrouned the man and he ran away in fear.

"Now you see you were wrong!" Islude screamed and slashed a finishing blow to the man. He fell over dead. "Timbas! Are you ok?" said the bloody Islude. The druid was using his magic to heal and was now going to live. "Thank you master, for helping me." said Timbas. "Not a nig deal and, my name is Islude." "Yes I know, thankyou, Islude." said Timbas. The two shook hands and walked away. "Farewell! said Timbas.

Now I need to find a way to get home from this damned place... To be continued.
