Firebirds drop exhibition

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee kicker Kenny Stucker booted a 30-yard field goal with four seconds remaining in the game to give Milwaukee a 47-45 Arena Football League exhibition victory over the Albany Firebirds Friday.

Albany had come back from a 27-16 halftime deficit behind backup quarterback Jeff Lutes. His nine-yard touchdown pass to Jay Jones with 46 seconds remaining brought Albany within one point, 44-43. Lutes passed to Jones again for the two-point conversion to give Albany a short-lived lead.

Albany plays next Saturday at Iowa in its final preseason tuneup.
