As a kid
growing up, I used to watch “Sesame Street.” I used to love
watching the characters like Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch (He was so angry…That’s
why that puppet was so great…What a hobo.) To be honest, my favorite character
on the show was cookie monster. All the blue, hairy monster cared about was waffling
down as many cookies as possible. I loved eating cookies too…Cookie monster
was like my childhood hero until I reached age 5.
Well guess what…We live in the age of “politically correctness” and “times
have changed.” Sadly, shows like “Sesame Street” have to get
caught up in the storm especially since the show is broadcasted through public
and government funding.

My beloved blue, furry monster — who sang "C is for cookie, that's
good enough for me" — is now advocating eating healthy. There's even
a new song — "A Cookie Is a Sometimes Food," where Cookie Monster
learns there are "anytime" foods and "sometimes" foods” (--The
Whole Cookie Monster Article).
That’s just ridiculous. Let kids eat cookies if they want to. Even Gerber
(famous for baby food) has gone in on the act too. Let’s give babies enough
vitamins and proteins so that they can either crawl or run around the floor to
make a dirty mess.
More than ever, some kids are just having sex even before they reach puberty…The
webmaster knows this as a fact…especially while in grammar school. As an
8th grader, there were already three 7th grade couples having girls who were
already pregnant (apparently, they wanted to practice their sexual education).
Let kids be kids…It’s bad enough that one nine yr. old kid told the
webmaster to visit a porn website while I was surfing the net at a computer.
