Did We Just Have an Election?

Did I not get something in the mail about this election? I didn’t hear anything from the media.
Realistically, I know that we had an election on the first Tuesday of the month. However, I didn’t think it happened. Incumbent President George W. Bush defeated John Kerry. As usual, most of the “flyover states” voted for Bush while most of the coastal states went to Kerry.
Gee…What a shock? (That’s me being sarcastic)

Remember many so-called political experts saying that this “was the most important presidential election in thirty years.”
I believe that the end result didn’t prove this theory.

Did the Democrats screw up in their selection by picking an indecisive leader, who is married to the heiress of Heinz Ketchup? To be honest, the Democrats handed the election over to Bush by selecting such a weak candidate. In normal circumstances, Bush should have been trounced easily by a politician. All this presidential candidate had to do was to trash President’s Bush’s first term in office. Instead, Kerry and the democrats decided to go for the “swing voters.”
Did that strategy work?

Here are some issues that Kerry should have brought up against Bush: Starting with a $200 billion dollar surplus & ending in a $400 billion dollar deficit. War on Terror: Did the government capture Osama Bin Laden? In addition, did the Bush administration get the army into another Vietnam War, a.k.a. “Operation Iraqi Freedom?”
The list can go on & on, but I decided to cut it to a few key points.

According to CNN.com election results, in the state of Florida, about 14% of the registered Democrats voted for President Bush.
That’s how you lose an election.
Once I knew Florida went to Bush, I told one of my friends that the election came down to the state of Ohio (a microcosm of the United States of America). And of course, Bush won the state of Ohio. But, John Kerry had conceded the election to Bush the day after the election.

I remember vice presidential candidate telling the Democrats in Boston at 3:00 E.T. that they were going to wait until every vote was counted in Ohio. I wished that John Edwards ran under the Democratic ticket for president. He would have had a better shot at defeating Bush. I blame Iowa for selecting John Kerry in the Iowa caucuses, as the democratic presidential candidate. Just watch either one of Michael Moore’s film documentaries: “Fahrenheit 9/11” or “Bowling for Columbine,” and find out the corruption of George W. Bush.I know many people who say, “Take his movie has a grain of salt.” The images in these two documentaries speak for themselves.

I can’t see the connection in which people voted for him based on Christianity. This show’s how ignorant people in the “Bible belt” and/or “middle America” really are compared to the rest of the country.

I think that President Bush has been spoon fed the presidency of the United States of America. Now, I think that’s sad since America values itself on “equal opportunity” and “freedom.” And now, we have another four years of listening to an uneducated, ignorant yuppie.

What happened when Yassar Arafat died? Bush demanded that the Palestinians negotiate a peace agreement in either his terms or none at all.
In actuality, it did not matter who became President of the United States.

In the end, the worst nightmare of some former presidents Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Franklin D. Roosevelt has come true. Here’s their nightmare: Big business running the United States government. Think about it. John Kerry’s wife is an heiress to the Heinz Ketchup fortune and George W. Bush used to run a wealthy oil company. He knows the Royal Saudi Family very well since he made millions in the oil industry.

I think that that the government should allow foreigner-born American citizens to run for president, because most American politicians just care about their contingency and screw over the rest.
