Have you seen me on the internet?
I have loved Pocket Monsters/Pokémon since September 1998. From 1999 to about 2001, I was an active member of the Universal Pokémon Network Forums, and was known there as "Nyasu The Top Cat".

After that I became distanced to internet Pokémon communities, but I still continued to watch the anime and converse about it with friends. Then in February or March of 2006, I created a roleplaying account at Myspace, where I was the original and most screwed up Lucario. If you were part of that community during the time, you've probably know of the user with the URL "myspace.com/lucario" -- and yes, that was me. Since then, though, I've changed that account over for using as a real life profile.

You may have also heard of me at Fanfiction.net, where my pen-name is Meriah. I am not a well known writer there, but have been a member since 2001, so I am for sure a veteran!

About me:
I am a female majoring in Biology and Environmental Sciences at a small college somewhere in desolate, cold northern Michigan. It sucks here, so I don't suggest visiting.

For privacy reasons, there's not much I wish to disclose about myself. I'm a Libra (although in all honesty I don't meet the criteria; I far more resemble an Aquarius or Cancer). I love the outdoors, but unfortunately cannot enjoy it for about 7 months during the year. My hobbies include reading, writing, painting (which I don't do enough... ack), and researching various topics ranging from ethology to anthropology. Animals are my obsession, and my favorite colors are green and purple.

My house is infested with pets, including a California kingsnake, a kitten, two cats, a basset hound, and numerous fish. The kitten highly resembles a Turkish Angora, although it is likely she is a randombred.

Oh... and... yes, Ai/Amber and Mewtwo are my favorite Pokémon characters, along with Aaron (eighth movie) and his Lucario. Yay!
