The Fleet at Cimtar
For more than 20 years it has been common knowledge that there were 5 Colonial Battlestars at the Peace Conference, including statements made by Executive Producer Glen Larson. So no one has ever bothered to actually look at the fleet Richard Colla portrayed on the screen. To date I have been able to identify 22 individual ships in the fleet as it was portrayed in the 1978 Pilot of Battlestar Galactica.
On the next pages are the primary images of the fleet captured from the original Pilot first broadcast on ABC in 1978 that I have been using plus a graphic showing the overall fleet deployment taken from these images. I�ve had a lot of fun doing this and I hope you enjoy the work as well.
