| The Founder & President of the Schools & Systems of the Hidden Dragon has studied martial arts since 1975. His first art of study was Judo at a local health center. After 8 years of intensive study under his Jujutsu Master, Shihan Yukio^ earned his frist three black belts in Judo, Yawara and Aiki Jujitsu. With continued study through the years Shihan earned several other martial art ranks as well as further advancing in others. In the 15 years that Shihan studied actively with his Jujutsu Master or even the Founder of the system he belonged to at the time, he earned a rank of Montei or Desciple. This rank was attained in a closed organization and a closed system to the general public. During this time of study Shihan was also studying and practicing Japanese Rope Bondage from an indivdual who wished to remain annonomous. Shihan was also secretely practicing the BSDM and D/s lifestyle with a private student/slave. Though not formally trained in SHIBARI, the Japanese rope bondage learned gave Shihan approx. 10 years of practice and experience with his private student. There were other aspects of this Master/slave relationship that gave Shihan the idea of incorporating the BDSM & D/s lifestyle into the marital art culture that he was so accustomed to. This slave enjoyed both. She was a junior level brown belt rank and enjoyed martial arts but, contrary to the concept of wishing to learn to defend herself, she greatly enjoyed the feeling of being helpless and vulnerable to the extent where she agreed to be this Shihan's personal student and slave. Shihan took the seemingly odd paring and combined them into what he now calls the Schools & Systems of the Hidden Dragon. The Hidden Dragon represents an idea, philosophy & standard. Hidden- not open to the general public and also giving the organization it's mistique as well as the arts within are not of common knowledge. Dragon- was chosen due to the obvious asian cultural significance and that there would be a power represented therein. Receintly Shihan Yukio^ has begun a the journey to offer the martial arts he has studied to those individuals who are interested in BDSM & D/s lifestyles. There is no other system, to Shihan Yukio^'s' knowledge, which is dedicated solely to the Dom/sub lifestyles which teach martial arts. For those who are interested he is very eager to hear from you. A Gorean lifestyle within the organization this is possible yet still under construction. Shihan Yukio^ would love some assistance in this division.. |
