This web site is dedicated to: The Memory of Dale Atkinson, who designed this web site and worked countless hours to make the information available to his/our family. Dale died of a heart attack, the evening of November 5, 2002, at his home while working at his computer. Undoubtedly he was researching more family data. Dale's work will live on! His love for family and the quest for information is our inspiration. He rests at Green Acres Memorial Gardens in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. His wife Shirley has been a tower of strength for all of us during these difficult months. I miss Dale's cheerful conversation, his optimism, and his inspiration to persist in research and his friendship!! Brian Ranville OUR ANCESTORS who came to this country and persevered THE PRESENT GENERATION who will be inspired to continue to research and contribute to the preservation of the history of the deRainville Federation of Families THE FUTURE GENERATION who will have knowledge and an understanding of those who preceded them. |
If, by preparing this web site, we have inspired in the members of our family, an appreciation of their history, a respect for their fellow man, and a genuine desire to preserve our heritage and place in the history of North Americe and beyond, then our mission is accomplished and our combined effort is worthwhile. _ Thomas Edworthy _ Gerald Brian Ranville _ Dale Ronald Atkinson |
