How to get to the Waikiki Banyan Directions from the Honolulu International Airport: By car: From terminal, access H-1 Freeway East Exit via Nimitz Hwy (Hwy 92) and follow signs to Waikiki Nimitz Hwy transitions to Ala Moana Blvd Ala Moana Blvd merges with Kalakaua Ave at SW entrance to Waikiki Keep left and proceed onto Kuhio Ave Go straight until you reach Ohua. The Banyan is at the corner of Ohua and Kuhio. The parkade is on Kuhio just past Ohua, on your left. By taxi: Fare is between $35-40; time approx. 20 mins. By shuttle bus to major hotels in Waikiki: $8-10; about 1 hr. By bus (#19 or 20): $2, get off at Kuhio/Paoakalani; about 1 hr. |
