John M. Jackson was born on June 1, 1950 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  His family moved to Texas when he was very young.  JMJ grew up in the Dallas area, went to the University of Texas, and lived in Austin teaching at a local high school before he began acting in a local community theater.

He has since had a very successful career, which has spanned theater, motion pictures and television for over 20 years.

Some of my favorite non-AJ roles are:

*  Johnny B in the Spitefire Grill

*  Chief Michael Corbitt in Deadly Matrimony

*  Colonel “Butch” Blanchard in Roswell (short roll, but love the sunglasses!!)

*  Hal Deacon in From the Earth to the Moon (Part 8)

*  Arthur J. Walker in Family of Spies: The Walker Spy Ring

JMJ is a glorious 6’3 with mesmerizing brown eyes!!

When he has the time, JMJ enjoys coaching Pony Baseball.

He is married, and lives in Los Angeles.

Mr. Jackson currently stars in JAG as

Rear Admiral AJ Chegwidden
