What did you want to be when you were growing up? I wanted to be a dancer or some kind of celebrity. I took dance classes groing up in Reno Parks & Rec., then I dropped out of high school my senior year cuz I lied about my age and got a job dancing in Branson, MO. I couldn't stand the family atmosphere, so I came back here to Reno. I danced in shows here awhile, and worked as a magician's assistant. I'm proud I was able to set a goal and reach it.
Reason for joining the force? It hit me during a magic show when I was bound and gagged and locked in a box waiting to be turned into an erotic looking duck that I was wasting my life. I wanted a powerful, glamorous, sexy job that would allow me to give back to the city that's given me so much, so law enforcement was a no-brainer. I'm an adreniline junkie baby! While I was going through the academy, I worked weekends handing out flyers at RV and Camper expos. I still do it sometimes when I need the cash.
