Silent tears down my face

Memories won’t be erased

Shattered on the floor

Gone are the hopes

The dreams from before

I watch it fade

Gone from my sight

My soul turns to darkness

Away from the light

Past loves intrude

Into our space

Causing more pain

No saving grace

Love will go now

Pain takes it’s place

More lonely tears

From an empty space

My body goes numb

Life does go on

I tried to find love
