Dave Seymour, one of our towpilots at Mile High Gliding, is also a United 747 captain and owns a 1940 Waco biplane. Jodie and I took a ride in it this week. It climbs at 200fpm at 80 mph at this altitude. We never got much above 1000 ft for the whole ride. It's a huge airplane with a huge, loud radial engine. A wonderful way to fly.
