Bottom Fuselage

Here's the aft fuselage with the longerons added to it. The longerons are the aluminum angle sticking out the front.

The center fuselage sits on the longerons. The skins of the aft fuselage and center fuselage overlap and will be riveted together.

The side skins are clecoed on after the center section. All of this will be riveted together before the fuselage is turned upright.

The firewall is added after the side skins. The engine mount will attach to the firewall.

Staying current in the Decathon: The RV7 will be a tailwheel airplane so it doesn't hurt to do a few landings once in a while in the Decathlon.
