The unfolding of an impossible building: short version
(poetic program notes:)

Numbers projected, spring from technological analysis of real events - the numbers are a virtual understanding of the events - the understanding of numbers. The idiomatic beauty of the Quasi-Tarantas for solo guitar gradually accumulates a heaviness from sound artifacts that grow from it, and eventually the idiomatic line is dissolved. A new idiom appears - a Fantasy Dance for solo guitar. The materials and their sonic effects crumble, the virtual understanding must be replaced by reality.

René Mogensen, October 2003

guitar (classical), Max-MSP patch with live processing, and dancers with sound objects, in quadrophonic surround sound
