Margaret June Brownfield, 68, of Oak Ridge, beloved daughter, mother and sister, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at St. Mary’s Residential Hospice in Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by special friend, Ernest Tolbert and by her mother, Mamie Bardill Cate.
She is survived by: Father and Step-mother, Carel and Ruby Cate of Powell; Sons, Charles, Curtis, Mark and Peter Bolen, all of Florida; Daughter, Anna Bolen Adams and husband Steve of Texas; Brothers, Ted Cate and wife Nancy of Seymour and Cecil Cate and wife Mary o Powell; Sisters, Bertha Harden of Powell and Dorothy Myers of Heiskell and several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of friends and other relatives.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to St. Mary’s Residential Hospice, who cared for her in the last part of her life.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 10:30am at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
At her request, the body was cremated.
The family asks that any memorials be in the form of contributions to St. Mary Hospice Center, 7447 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37938 in her memory.
