| Longtime Resident of County Dies |
| MICHIGAMME - Mrs. Leada McGinnis, 82, died early this morning in Bell Memorial Hospital, Ishpeming, where she had been a patient three weeks. Mrs. McGinnis was born May 18 1883, near Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and has lived in Michigamme for 79 years She was a member of St. Agnes Church and the Daughters of Isabella, Negaunee. Surviving are two sons, Bert Whalen, Detroit, and Reginald McGinnis, Ishpeming; a daughter, Mrs Ronald (Della) Dishnow, Michigamme; five sisters, Mrs Exena DeMolen, and Mrs Jean Devins, Michigamme; Mrs Agnes Sutherby, Hoquiem Wash.; Mrs Ernest (Cora) LaCodde, Negaunee, and Mrs. Clara LaCosse, L'Anse; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The body is in the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home, Ishpeming, where friends may call after 2 tomorrow afternoon. Mass On Monday Committal services will be held in St. Agnes Church, Saturday afternoon at 1, with the Rev. Charles Strelick of Marquette officiating. Burial will be made in Lakewiew Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be offered at 9:30 Monday morning. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8:30 tomorrow night. The body will be taken to the church at noon Saturday |
