| COUPLE OBSERVES 50TH ANNIVERSARY Family Gathering Congratulates Mr. and Mrs. John Stickney Mr.and Mrs. John Stickney, senior, observed their 50th wedding anniversary at their home, 350 Alger Street, yesterday, after 50 years residence in the city, with the exception of a few years spent in Ishpeming. The couple were married at St. Peter's Cathedral. All of their family of eight boys and two girls were present,with the exception of Joseph, of Oakland, Cal., who was injured in a ship yard accident some time ago, and was unable to travel. The family attended high mass, which was held privately at the cathedral, in a body, after which dinner was served at the home, which was beautifully decorated with sinilax and crysanthemums. Maurice Mc.Ginnis, of Superior, Wis., only brother of Mrs.Stickney, neted as toastmaster, in the presentation of many beautiful gifts to the couple. A reception was held in the afternoon and evening, during the course of which a wide circle of aquaintances called to offer congratulations. The relarives gathered together were, Mrs. Irene and Ceibert, and Frank, and John, of this city.
