MRS. EMELIA STICKNEY
Mrs. Emelia Stickney, 69 years old, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday in her home at
323 West Crescent Street after a long illness.
Mrs. Stickney, who was known to her friends as Emily, was born in Negaunee March 27, 1873, and had resided in Marquette for 36 years. She was the widow
of John Stickney Jr.
Mrs. Stickney leaves four daughters, Mrs. Marvin A. June, of Kenosha, Wis.;
Mrs. William Vasseau, of this city,; Mrs. Melbourne Yates, of Medford, Wis.,
and Mrs.Clifford Senical, of Kenosha, Wis.; two sons, Howard R.Stickney, of Ishpeming, and Leonard J. Stickney, of Flint; one brother, Edward Dobbs, of
Iron Mountain, 11 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
The body will remain in Tonella's Funeral Home until the time of funeral services, which will be conducted at 9 Thursday morning in St. John's Catholic Church.
Burial will be made in Holy Cross cemetery.
