| Elaine M. Remortel, 20, of 214 Fisher street, died in St. Mary's hospital Saturday morning after a seven weeks' illness. She was born July 29, 1921, in Marquette. She leaves her mother, Mrs. Lottie Remortel, and two sister, Frances and Lucille, and one brother, Donald, all of Marquette; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs Joseph Remortel, of Marquette, and Mrs Mary Howe, of Michigamme. Miss Remortel was graduated from the Graveraet high school in 1939 and was employed in the National Youth Administration office in Negaunee. She was a member of St. Peter's cathedral parish. The body was taken to Tonella's funeral home and will remain there until the time of funeral services, which will be held at 9 tomorrow morning in St. Peter's cathedral. Burial will be made in Holy Cross cemetery. |
