| 38-Year-Old Michigamme Woman Dies |
| MICHIGAMME-Mrs. Ruth Plattenberg, 38, died suddenly this morning in Bell Memorial Hospital, Ishpeming, where she had been a patient for nine days. She was born in Duluth, Minn., June 1, 1920, and had been a resident of Michigamme 25 years. She was a member of the Michigamme Township Board of Education, the Parent-Teacher Assn. and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors are her husband, Alfred; four sons, Norman of Marquette, Harold, Gerald and Harland, and a daughter Karen, of Michigamme; her father, Eric Wedin of Michigamme; two sisters, Mrs. Olga Skogland of Sweden and Mrs. Robert Rajala of Watton; three brothers, Ole Wedin of Duluth, Eric Wedin of Milwaukee and Richard Wedin of Michigamme. The body is in the Beale Funeral Home. |
