| MARQUETTE - Evelyn E. Parsons, 79, formerly of 316 Pine St., Marquette died Friday evening, Dec 34, 1993 at the Mather Nursing Center, where she'd been a resident since April 1986. She had been ill for several years. She was born Dec 29, 1913 in Marquette to the late Harry and Alice (Howe) Cain. She was a lifelong Marquette resident and a former member of St. Peter Cathedral. She is survived by one daughter, Connie (Dean) Bohlen of Danville, Iowa; one son, Stuart (Margaret) Parsons of Marquette, one sister, Agnes (William) Parkkila of Sundell; sis grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, in April 1967 and a daughter, Patsy, in January 1956. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at the Fassbender Funeral Home in Marquette and prior to the services on Tuesday. Services will be in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Lawrence Gauthier officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. |
