| Maurice McGinnis Dies Here Monday Maurice McGinnis, 74, 1915 Lamborn Ave, well-known here as an alderman for eight years and former county jailor, dies at a local hospital Monday after a lingering illness. Born at Marquette, Michigan Oct 25, 1964, Mr. McGinnis was closely associated with the city's development until his recent retirement. He was a member of the Cathedral of Christ the King parish and the Holy Name Society. Survivors include his wife Jennie: five daughters Mrs. Margaret Devine, Mrs. Pearl Bangs, Mrs. Catherine Peterson, Mrs. Irene Poole, all of Superior, and Lucille McGinnis, Dowagiac, Mi: three sons Frank and Floyd, Superior and Harold, Fargo, ND: 15 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 8:15 am at the J. E. Nicol Montuary and 9 am at the cathedreal of Christ the King. The Rev. Joseph Annabring will officiate and burial will be at Calvary cemetery. A rosary will be recited Tuesday *:30 pm at the mortuary. |
