Mary LaForest
  CHAMPION - Mary Anita LaForest, 80, of Champion, was dean on arrival Saturday evening, Nov. 6, 1993, at Bell Memorial Hospital in Ishpeming.
   She was born Oct 30, 1913 in Pequaming to Moses Dishnow and Amelia Hicks.  She moved to Michigamme as a young girl.  She married Henry LaForest Aug.1 1942 st St. Agnes Catholic Church in Michigamme.  Seh then moved to Champion.  She worked for the H.W. Gossard Co. for a short time and was a homemaker.  She was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church, the St Anne Society and the St. Joseph's Guild.
   She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Henry; a son Lance of New Berlin, Wis.; two brothers, Vern Dishnow of Michigamme and Anthony Dishnow of lower Michigan; three grandchildren, one greatgrandchild and several nieces and nephews.
   Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming with Rev. Vincent Ouellette  officiating.  Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Racine Funeral Chapel in Ishpeming where liturgical services will be at 7:30 p.m.  Entombment will be in the Northland Chapel Gardens Mausoleum.  Pallbearers will be Raino Linne, Roy Pascoe, Harold Hamel, Forest Pepin, Bradley Pepin and Jeffrey DeCaire.
