Russell Howe
  MICHIGAMME - Funeral services for Russell Howe, 82, a life-long Michigamme resident, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Agnes Catholic Church of Michigamme.
   Rev. James Genovesi will officiate and burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery of Michigamme.  Pallbearers will be Arthur Benson, Roger and Russell Atherton, Douglas Howe, Dennis Bentti and John Couveau.
   Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home of Ishpeming and at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service time.
   Howe was pronounced dead on arrival at noon Tuesday at Bell Memorial Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack near his home.
   Born July 3, 1899 in Michigamme, he was employed for many years by the North Range Mining Co. and worked as a miner and a blacksmith at the Blueberry Mine.  He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and the Michigamme Senior Citizens
   Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Doris) Verville of Michigamme, Mrs. Duane (Flora Mae) Olson of Dearborn Heights; two sons, Donald of Michigamme, Norman of Negaunee; a sister, Mrs. Lottie Remortel of Marquette; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
