Paul Howe
Of Diorite
Dies at 75
  CHAMPION - Paul Edward Howe, 75, Diorite, died in Bell Memorial Hospital, Ishpeming, at 3:48 this morning.  He had been a patient there several months.
   Mr. Howe, was born at Eagle Mills May 7, 1892, and had lived in Diorite 35 years.  He was retired, and had been employed by the North Range Mining Co. and K. I. Sawyer Air Force Base.  He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Michigamme American Legion Post and St. Pius X Catholic Church of North Lake.
   Surviving are his wife, Marie; a son, Edward J of Diorite; three daughters, Mrs. William (Pauline) Strong of Detroit, Mrs. William (Marjorie) Christianson of Minneapolis and Mrs Hall (Geraldine) Hakala of Monominee Falls, Wis.; three brothers, Wesley, Russell and Angus of Michigamme; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Remortal and Mrs. Vertin Boyer of Marquette, and 13 grandchildren.
   Services will be held Monday morning at 9 in St. Pius X Church with the Rev. Joseph Strelick officiating.  Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Michigamme.  Pallbearers will be E. J. St. Onge, Harold J. Remortal, Ernest LaCosse, Donald Howe, and Robert and Foster Quayle.
    Friends may call at the Fassbender Funeral Home, Ishpeming, beginning at 2 Sunday afternoon.
   Liturgical services will be held in the funeral home at 8 Sunday night.
