| CHAMPION - Marie A. Hose, age 91, of Rt 1 304 Granite St. Champion died early Friday morning June 7, 1996 at the Marquette Co. Medical Care Facility in Ishpeming where she had been a resident since 1989. Marie was born May 5 1905 in Crystal Falls to the late Henry & Sophia (Sutter) Holstein. She was a life long area resident. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming. Marie is survived by 1 son, Edward (Marilyn) Howe of Champion, 2 son-in-laws, Hall Hakala of Texas, William Christiansen of Minneapolis, MN; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, and 3 daughters, Pauline, Marge, and Geraldine. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 10, 1996 at 12:00 noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming with the Rev. Fr. Vincent Ouellette to officiate. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Michigamme. Friends may call the St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Arrangements are being handled by the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home of Ishpeming. |
