| MICHIGAMME - Mrs. Russell (Flora Mae) Howe, 76, of Michigamme died Friday morning at Bell Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for the past week. Born July 6, 1904, in Michigamme, she spent most of her life in the area and was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, Russell; two daughters, Mrs Joseph (Doris) Verville of Michigamme and Mrs. Flora Mae Olson of Dearborn Heights; two sons, Donald of Michigamme and Norman of Negaunee; two brothers, Euclid Chantelois of Marquette and Trefle Chantelois of Republic; two sisters, Mrs Francis (Dorothy) Sevegney of Republic and Mrs Lydia Dustman of Milwaukee; 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St Agnes Catholic Church in Michigamme with the Rev. James Genevesi officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Michigamme. Friends may call at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Pallbearers will be Russell and Roger Atherton, Douglas and Myles Howe, Allen Keto, and Arthur Benson. |
