| ISHPEMING - Mrs. Emerald M. Hosey, 69, of 702 Bank St., died shortly after admittance to Bell Memorial Hospital Saturday evening. Born in Michigamme Sept. 5, 1905, she lived in L'Anse and taught school there for seven years. She also taught school for 14 years in Ely Tornship and Michigamme, retiring in 1973. Mrs. Hosey, active locally in senior citizen's activities, was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church of Ishpeming. Surviving are two sons, Patrick of Negaunee and Michael of Three Lakes; a daughter Mrs. Peggy Suhs of Ishpeming; three brothers, Alvern Dishnow of Michigamme, Anthony Dishnow of Wayne and Paul Dishnow of Iron Mountain; a sister, Mrs. Henry (Mary) LaForest of Champion; an aunt, Mrs. Clara Hicks of Michigamme; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Church, Rt. Rev. Msgr. David Speligatti, officating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Michigamme. Friends may call from 4 until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home, Ishpeming, where Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday |
