| L'ANSE - Mrs. Muriel M. Homier, 66, was dead on arrival at the Baraga County Memorial Hospital Friday evening. She was born March 26, 1908 in Michigamme, Mich, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Devins and resided there until 1933 when she moved to L'Anse Mrs. Homier was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Alter Society. The former Muriel M. Devins was married to Edward A Homier on Nov. 22, 1933 in St Agnes Catholic Church, Michigamme. He passed away Oct 14, 1973 Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Marvin (Marilyn) Gauthier of Marquette and Mrs. Joseph (Doreen) Zagar of Seattle, Wash; a sister, Mrs. William (Annette) Pellow of Ishpeming and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Andary to officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may begin calling at the Wittum Fumeral Home Monday after 4 p.m. The recitation of the rosary will be at the funeral home Monday at 7 p.m. |
