| St. CLAIR SHORES, MICH. - Former Marquette resident Margaret H. Clulo, 79, of St Clair Shores died Tuesday at St. John's Hospital in Detroit. She's been ill for a month. Mrs. Clulo was born July 11, 1912, in Lake City, Minn., to the late John and Frances (0'Brien) Barry, and taught at the Michigamme High School for several years. She also taught at the Graveraet High School and St. John's Elementary School in Marquette. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Marquette. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Ochadleus of St. Clair Shores; four sons, John Hicks of Brookfield, Wis., Robert Hicks of Anchorage, Alaska, James Hicks of Eau Claire, Wis., and Brian Hicks of Maple Grove, Minn.; two brothers, Rev. Colemen Berry of Collegeville, Minn., and Richard Barry of Lake City; a sister, Mrs John (Lagory) Potts of Brookfield, Wis.; 13 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J Clulo, on Aug 13, 1988; and by her first husband, Eldridge Hicks, in 1953. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Catherdral in Marquette with the Rev. John Shiverski officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Marquette. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Canale-Tonela Funeral Home in Marquette, where a parish prayer service is scheduled for 4 p.m. Mrs. Clulo's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. |
