PIONEER RESIDENT OF CHAMPION DEAD
Champion, Mich. Jan 27 - Alex Duhame, 76 years old, a resident of Champion for half a century, died here today.  He was born in Canada, May 21 1852, and came to this country 50 years ago, settling in Champion.  He is survived by a widow, two daughters, five sons, four stepsons, five stepdaughters and one adopted son.  The sons are Cassius, Napoleon and Alex of Champion, Edward of Cadillac, and Albert of L'Anse.  The daughters are Mrs. Selina Raymond of Channing and Mrs. Mary Hill of Minneapolis.  The stepsons are Oscar Arsenault of Ishpeming, and Charles and John Arsenault of Champion and Joseph Arsenault of Maruqette.  The stepdaughters are Mrs. Eva Hoglund living in Wisconsin, Mrs. Margaret Hart, Gary, Indiana, Mrs Minnie Raiche of Gladstone, Mrs. Laura LaPorte of Gladstone, and Mrs. Margaret O'Brien of Champion.  The adopted son is Thomas Shepherd of Champion.  Funeral services will be held here Monday Morning.
