Francis Dompierre
  NEGAUNEE- Francis E. Dompierre, 71, of 1105 Maple St., Negaunee died at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 1995 at Marquette General Hospital where he was a patient for one day.
   He was born June 25, 1924, in Negaunee to Wilfred and Eva (Olver) Dompierre and was a lifelong Negaunee resident.  He was a 1942 graduate of St. Paul High School.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific.
   Mr. Dompierre was a hospital administrator at St. Mary's Hospital in Marquette and a real estate and insurance agent for the Elder Agency until his retirement in 1985.  He also served as a U.S. Customs Agent for 15 years.
   He was a member of St. Paul Church, and a 40-year member of the Negaunee Elks Lodge, where he was past exalted ruler, past district vice president and deputy grand exalted ruler and a past state trustee.
   Survivors include his wife, Myrtle (Johnson); two sons, Francis (Cis) and Paul (Julie), both of Negaunee; two daughters, Susan (Dennis) Veale of Iron Mountain and Cathy (Larry) Young of Gladstone; two brothere, Clement (Florence) of Sun City, Ariz and James of Negaunee; a sister, Florence Kurin of Ishpeming; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and seven brothers.
   Funeral services begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church in Negaunee, with the Rev. John Martignon officiating.
   Burial will be in the Negaunee Cemetery.
   Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Koskey Funeral Home, with the Negaunee Elks holding a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7:45 p.m.
   Pall bearers will be Edmond Polini, Francis Nardi, David and Wilfred Dompierre, and Rollin and Robert Johnson.
