| IRON MOUNTAIN - Paul B. Dishnow, 59, of 1650 S Park, Iron Mountain, died Sunday afternoon at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. Mr. Dishnow was born Feb 5, 1921, at Pequaming, Mich. He came to Iron Mountain 32 years ago and was employed for a time at the VA Hospital in Iron Mountain. He later joined the Dickinson Hotel organization and remained active there until the time of his death. Mr. Dishnow, who served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II, was a member of the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Rotary Club, was a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, and was also a member of the United Commercial Travelers, Knights of Columbus, Queen of Peace Church, Full gospel Business Men's Fellowship and was a member and former director of the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce. He leaves his wife, Irene; three sons, Jay and Dean of Iron Mountain and Bruce of Grand Forks, N.D.; a daughter, Mrs Gail Jerks of Iron Mountain, two brothers, Anthony of Lake, Mich., and Alverne of Michigamme; a sister, Mrs Mary LaForest of Champion, Mich., and seven grandchildren. Friends may call at the Erickson-Rochon Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Parish prayers will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, to be attended by the Knights of Columbus. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Queen of Peace Church. Rev. Fr. Arnold Thompson will offer the Mass. Burial will be in Dickinson County Memorial Gardens. |
