| John is a mystery, what happened to him? We know for sure that he was one of the sons. In 1860 - John - Peter and Paul were at home in Essex In 1865 - Antoine - John - Peter and Paul were at home in Schroon. Joseph Jr. and family lived next door to them. In 1870 - Peter and Paul were at home but John is missing. Antoine and Alfred are living in the same town as Schroon but a distance away. Both are married. In 1975 - Joseph Jr. and family are the only ones listed of the Dishno's as living in Schroon. He is in the same house as in 1865. His next door neighbors are non-relatives. |
| John either left home between 1865 and 1870 or he died. His father is missing after 1870. Flavien stayed out of the census after Joseph died. She went to Michigan, either with sons Antoine and Alfred in 1873 or with Joseph Jr. in 1878. Alfred's daughter, Emeline, died in 1870's. Flavien died in 1890. She is buried alone in Champion Mi. |
