| WAUNAKEE/WINDSOR - Clifford L. Dishno, age 77, of Waunakee, died on Monday, December 7 1992, at his home, following a long illness. He was born on February 24, 1915, in Windsor, to Fred and Florence (Dorman) Dishno. He served in the United States Army during World War II and, following his discharge, farmed in the Windsor area. He was employed by the Ray Busse Livestock Exchange from 1956 until 1967, and from 1967 until 1980 he was employed as a partsman for Carl F. Statz & Sons, Inc. in Waunakee. He was a member and former financial officer of the American Legion Post #360 in Waunakee. He was also a member and former Elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Waunakee. He enjoyed sports and had a lifelong love of animals. Survivors include his beloved wife, Dorothy (Griffiths); a daughter, Margie (John) Winter of Fond du Lac; and a son, Dan (Karen) Dishno of Rio. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Everett Dishno; and a sister, Helen Dishno. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 19, 1992, at 11:00 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church in Waunakee. Reverend Kirk Morledge will officiate. Friends may call on Wednesday, December 9, 1992, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Winn Funeral Home in Waunakee. Friends may also call at the church on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in Vienna Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund. |
